Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsps olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
- fresh thyme leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F in advance.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet to fit your SENSARTE Nonstick Detachable Handel Grill Griddle Pan.
- Carefully transfer the rolled-out pastry to the skillet, ensuring it covers the base and slightly up the sides.
- In your SENSARTE Nonstick Deep Frying Pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced onions and sauté until they start to soften.
- Sprinkle sugar over the onions to aid caramelization. Cook until the onions turn golden brown, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the puff pastry in the skillet. Scatter crumbled goat cheese on top. This combination creates a rich and savory base for your tart.
- Place the griddle pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the tart for a burst of flavor and a touch of freshness.
- Allow the tart to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm as an appetizer, side dish, or a delightful main course. Enjoy!
