Recipe of Green Pea Soup

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley or mint leaves for garnish (optional)
  • croutons or toasted bread for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  • Heat the olive oil in your SENSARTE Nonstick Sauce Pan over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the green peas to the pan. If using fresh peas, cook for about 5 minutes until they are tender. If using frozen peas, cook for about 2-3 minutes until they are heated through.
  • Pour in the vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for an additional 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Using an immersion blender or a regular blender, puree the soup until smooth. Be careful when blending hot liquids.
  • Season the soup with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
  • Serve the green pea soup hot, garnished with fresh parsley or mint leaves if desired. You can also serve it with croutons or toasted bread on the side for added texture. Enjoy!
