Recipe of Pasta Bolognese
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 carrot, finely diced
- 1 celery stalk, finely diced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsps tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 12 oz (340g) spaghetti or your favorite pasta
Instructions:
- In your SENSARTE Nonstick Deep Frying Pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant and translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Stir in the finely diced carrot and celery, cooking for a few minutes until they soften.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth, stirring everything together.
- Add the dried oregano, basil, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and let the sauce simmer for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti or pasta of your choice in a SENSARTE Nonstick Sauce Pan according to the package instructions. Remember to salt the pasta water for added flavor.
- Once the Bolognese sauce has thickened and the flavors have developed, taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Serve the cooked pasta on a plate, and ladle the delicious Bolognese sauce on top.
- Garnish with some grated Parmesan cheese or fresh basil leaves for an extra touch of flavor. Enjoy!
