Recipe of Stuffed Bell Peppers
Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (any color)
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- salt and pepper to taste
- olive oil for cooking
Instructions:
- Preheat your SENSARTE Nonstick Deep Frying Pan over medium heat.
- While the pan is heating, slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes from inside.
- In the same pan, heat some olive oil and sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until softened and fragrant.
- Add the ground beef or turkey to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Once the meat is cooked through, stir in the cooked rice and tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Fill each bell pepper with the meat and rice mixture, packing it in tightly.
- Place the stuffed bell peppers upright in the SENSARTE Nonstick Deep Frying Pan, making sure they are stable and won't tip over.
- Cover the pan and let the stuffed peppers cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the tops of the stuffed peppers and cover the pan again for a few minutes, allowing the cheese to melt.
- Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, remove the stuffed bell peppers from the pan and serve hot. Enjoy!
